Oppermann Promoted to Firm Administrator; Fite Hired as Transactional Paralegal

Belleville, IL, October 19, 2009. The law firm, Mathis, Marifian, Richter & Grandy, Ltd. (MMR&G), is pleased to announce the promotion of Elizabeth Oppermann and the addition of Laura Fite to the established firm. Oppermann was promoted to firm administrator while Fite was hired as a transactional paralegal.
As firm administrator, Oppermann will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the firm to include human resources, policies and procedures, facilities management and information technology. Oppermann received her bachelor of arts in legal studies in 2007 from Webster University. She has been employed at MMR&G since 1999, where she previously served as a transactional paralegal. She is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and St. Clair County Legal Professionals Association.
As transactional paralegal, Fite will assist the business practice area with the formation of corporations and limited liability companies, as well as compliance filings on the state and county levels. Fite graduated in May 2009 from Maryville University with her bachelor of arts in legal studies with a concentration in paralegal and a minor in business.
