Natalie T. Lorenz Passes Missouri Bar

Bellville, Ill., May 29, 2013. Mathis, Marifian & Richter, Ltd., (MM&R) today announced Natalie T. Lorenz, an associate at the firm, passed the Missouri Bar exam and is now certified to practice law within the state.
Lorenz was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2012 and is a member of the St. Clair County, Illinois, and American Bar Associations. She also is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Lorenz joined MM&R in 2012 as an associate. Previously she gained experience with Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, where she volunteered with attorneys to provide a variety of legal services to individuals in southern Illinois who could not have otherwise afforded them. She also served as a teaching assistant and research assistant at Southern Illinois University School of Law. In addition, she externed with a federal magistrate judge during law school.
Lorenz graduated summa cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2012 as valedictorian of her class. While in law school, she served on the Board of Editors of the SIU Law Journal and received eight CALI awards for highest-class grades. She wrote two published articles and earned numerous scholarships and honors, including the Lowell H. Jacobson Scholarship (for academic performance and public service), the Phi Kappa Phi Award, the Academic Excellence Award, and the Joseph Bartylak Fellowship (for public service).
